Event Details

The Friends of the Decatur Library will be hosting sculptor Greg Mendez at the FOL annual meeting in the Decatur Meeting Room. After a brief business meeting at which officers for the next year will be elected, Mendez will speak about his sculpture, his process, and the world of sculpture. All are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served after the presentation.

The Friends of the Library group creates and stimulates public support of library programs, interprets the library to the community, encourages gifts to the library, and provides financial support beyond the library budget capacity. Numerous special library programs such as Stevens Puppets, Kids in the Park, Summer Reading, and more are sponsored annually by the Friends.
