Event Details

Held at the Loblolly Marsh Nature Preserve, this poetry workshop will be facilitated by former Indiana State Poet Laureate, Shari Wagner, and will include a guided hike, discussion, prompts, as well as time for writing. 

We are excited to have Shari return to our area to lead another workshop with us! This event is cosponsored with the Friends of the Limberlost, whose mission supports the Limberlost State Historic Site and multiple nature preserves, in honor of the Indiana author, Gene Stratton Porter. 

Attendance is limited to 15 participants, so please register promptly.   

Bring a notebook, pen or pencil, a sack lunch, and a drink. Dress accordingly for being outdoors in the weather. 

In case of inclement weather, this event will be held in the Porter Room of the Geneva Library.
